A resort built for Entertainment City
Entertainment City is the reclaimed gaming strip PAGCOR laid out along Manila Bay in Parañaque, and City of Dreams Manila was the second of its large integrated resorts to open, after Solaire Resort & Casino in 2013. The project was reported at roughly 1.3 billion US dollars, took its first guests on 14 December 2014 and held its grand opening on 2 February 2015 with a launch concert.
The property is a sister resort to City of Dreams in Macau and carries the same idea: a casino floor wrapped in hotels, restaurants and non-gaming attractions rather than a stand-alone gambling hall. Its 938 rooms are split across the towers — 321 at Nobu Hotel Manila and 254 at Nüwa among them — and the dome-shaped Fortune Egg above the entrance became the property's visual signature. A retail strip, The Shops at The Boulevard, links the towers.
For a visitor the practical points are simple: the floor never closes, admission costs nothing, the age line is 21, and the door is the only place where your identity is checked. Everything else — what you spend, how long you stay, whether you play at all — is your own decision, and worth deciding before you arrive.
What "City of Dreams online" actually means
PAGCOR publishes two lists that settle the question. The register of accredited Gaming System Administrators and their registered brands, published on 4 December 2025, covers online operators. The register of registered brands and domains of licensed casinos, published on 16 July 2026, covers the integrated resorts and the online brands they are allowed to run. City of Dreams appears in the second list as a licensed casino, and no online brand under that name appears in either.
That matters because several Philippine resorts do run an official online arm under a different name, so "the resort is licensed" and "this website is the resort" are two very different statements. A page that asks for a City of Dreams email and password, offers a City of Dreams welcome bonus or hands out a City of Dreams promo code is run by somebody other than the Parañaque property.

Where City of Dreams Manila is
- Ninoy Aquino International Airport is the closest landmark — Entertainment City sits a few kilometres north-west of the terminals, normally 10 to 20 minutes by taxi depending on traffic on the airport road.
- From Makati or Bonifacio Global City the usual route is Roxas Boulevard or the Skyway, roughly 8 to 12 km, and the run is far quicker outside the 17:00-20:00 peak.
- The Mall of Asia complex, the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the other Bay Area resorts are all within a short drive along Macapagal and Roxas Boulevards.
- Ride-hailing and metered taxis reach the porte-cochère directly; the resort towers also run their own guest transfers, arranged through the hotel front desk.
